Ein Stück: Tschechien – Festival for New Czech Theatre presents the Czech-German production Maria Stuart. Schiller’s play is only loosely interpreted here; the fate of two queens at two courts serves as an inspiration to spark improvisation. Director and performer Jakub Čermák works together with German actor Sebastian Rein. Their immersive, conceptual production contains many elements of a site-specific installation.

The performance is kept in simple English and will deliberately not be interpreted or translated.

There will be a talk with the artists after the show.

Directors: Jakub Čermák, Sebastian Rein
Stage Design: Martina Zwyrtek
Music: Alejandro Bonatto

Admission is free, but the venue has limited seating. Please reserve your free tickets through Eventbrite using this link.
