With some visual impressions from Dina Karalash<\/a>, we take a look back at the 2024 Gleanings<\/a> of our festival Ein St\u00fcck: Tschechien<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the well-attended discussion following the reading of the play Die perverse Margaret<\/em> (engl.: Margaret the Pervert<\/em>), the play’s translator Barbora Schnelle and the Czech author Tom\u00e1\u0161 Diani\u0161ka discussed with the audience questions about the choice of subject matter for this quite peculiar story between outsiderism, animal love and science during the Cold War, and the way in which the author dealt with it artistically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The readers were Mareile Metzner, Patrick Khatami, Jan Pohl and Daniel Brunet, who also directed the reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
