Friday, October 23rd, 2015, 8 p.m. @ Sputnik Kino Bar, Berlin-Kreuzberg<\/em><\/p>\n

We will present Stevo Lopov\u2019s short play \u201cArme Sau Mensch\u201d (Bosnia, 2014) at Sputnik. Stevo Lopov is my alter ego. I needed to create this persona to be able to write this play. It\u2019s about war, and then again it isn\u2019t:
\nA Muslim and a Catholic are locked up in a room in a hospital. The nurses have long forgotten about them. While outside a war is raging, the two have other problems. In the end, the sea is waiting for them. Or maybe it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

After the reading, we will present Danis Tanovi\u0107\u2019s film \u201cNo Man\u2019s Land\u201d (2001). Three Yugoslav soldiers are trapped between the lines in no man\u2019s land and are waiting for help by the United Nations \u2013 completely in vain.<\/p>\n
