The German-Czech Future Fund<\/a> has been financing bilateral projects for the understanding of the two countries since 1997. Last year, the fund considerably supported EIN ST\u00dcCK: TSCHECHIEN,<\/a> our festival of new Czech drama, a collaboration of Drama Panorama with the Czech Centre Berlin<\/a>, Theater unterm Dach,<\/a> and Let\u00ed Theater<\/a> Prague.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, 17 March 2015, Dr. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Jel\u00ednek, the fund’s new director, introduced himself at Berlin’s Czech Centre in a follow-up to a network meeting that had taken place at Rotes Rathaus earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Barbora Schnelle and Henning Bochert seized the opportunity to introduce him to the continuation of\u00a0EIN ST\u00dcCK: TSCHECHIEN<\/a> as a long-term, biennial project to realize sustained collaboration.<\/p>\n
